Harmony Terrace is a 8 storey residential building with the total of 98 flats, located in the 13th district at 18 Angyalföldi Road. The residential building has 1-4 room apartments from 30 m2 to 106 m2. The building deserves its name: we tried to design a modern urban residential building that harmonizes with nature. With its large glass surfaces and terraces, as well as the maximum green space design in the ground floor and first floor courtyards, it creates a real stylish combination for its future owners. Corridors get natural light and ventilation through the façade windows. On the floors, the orientation of the flats is East-South-West, the lighting and orientation of all flats is optimal, there aren’t any north facing flats in the building. Most of the apartments have balconies or terraces.
We wanted to strengthen the sustainability of the building with additional mechanical engineering solutions. During the operation of the building, the use of modern energy-saving lighting and electrical systems and selective waste management will play a significant role. Furthermore, we have designed a water-saving network in the building, which optimizes water use and utilizes rainfall on roofs.
In addition to efficient operation, the funcionality of the building has the highest importance. The high quality insulation of the building ensures the summer climate of the apartments and with the planned mechanical systems solve the heating of the building, as well as the summer cooling. In addition to the use of forward-looking resources, we focused also on the low energy consumption of the mechanical and electrical systems, and the recovery of the energy accumulated in the ventilation systems with heat exchangers.
